Wading
Maine has several rivers across that state with wading accessibility. Some of those rivers being East Outlet, Grand Lake Stream, and the West branch of the Penobscot. Waders are sometimes able to be provided depending on size and availability. In the warmer months wet wading is an option. Anglers are provided with 6wt fly rods with floating or sink tip lines depending on conditions.

Penobscot River Floats
This float is for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. With three different float options ranging from 8 miles to 2 miles, we have got you covered on making your trip one to remember. With the primary species being Smallmouth bass, these fish put on quite the show with their acrobatic maneuvers and sheer power. At Lateral Line Guide Service, we use 14 ft inflatable drift boats to get you into water that no other boats can go. These boats allow us to float in only 3” of water. During the months of May-August anglers can expect high double digits and sometimes triple digit fish days for full day floats........Yes triple digit days. Anglers are provided with spinning rods/fly rods and all tackle and flys.
Ice Fishing

Togue, Salmon, and warm water species through the ice is what we specialize in. Winter months in Maine can be cold but can also be rewarding for those willing to put the work in.
